Bionic Buzz got to attend Women In Gaming International’s E3 Expo after party. WIGI is made up of both female and male professionals, works to promote the inclusion and advancement of women in the global games industry. Their annual after party was held at my favorite LA venue The Exchange LA in Downtown LA. The event was put on along with Three Bit Circus and made possible by the generous sponsors below. At the event an art exhibit called Experimental Realities: An Exhibition of Interactive, Responsive, and Projected Art. Curated by Isa Gordon and Anshul Pendse. There I got to try Santiago By Brenda Chen. Its a mixed reality visual music installation that integrates real world sculptures that are tracked in a VR.
Speaking of VR, Two Bit Circus was letting attendees demo their window-washing VR experience. I know it doesn’t sound exciting but watch our sizzle reel for the full effect. Tons of people gather around it to watch other people just try the demo. The VR is a collaboration with Applied VR. You stand on a platform with your headset. The platform moves and shakes to give the feeling on being on a real window-washing platform. You can either be a wuss and put your hand on to the railing or not. You go up pretty high and then the railing opens up and if you dare you can step out to the ledge. By @SteveSievers
