Horror feature HOME has set Emily Hampshire to star in the lead role. Hampshire just wrapped the sixth and final season of the newly Emmy nominated series SCHITT’S CREEK. The series is a pop culture phenomenon, earning 4 Emmy nominations this year.

She also recently starred as the breakout character of Syfy’s hit series 12 MONKEYS, based on the critically acclaimed film of the same name, playing “Jennifer Goines,” the role made iconic by Brad Pitt.

HOME is directed and produced by award-winning genre-festival darling Adam O’Brien of Delirium Pictures (BANSHEE, INSANE), produced by Philip Kalin-Hajdu, who penned the original script, and Benoit Beaulieu (TURBO KID), who also serves as Director of Photography.

HOME is Emily Hampshire’s first executive producer credit.

O’Brien won the Emerging Talent Award at the 2014 Fantasia Film Festival and the Directorial Discovery Award at the 2014 Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival.

HOME is a psychological horror film. After the death of their newborn Alex, Meredith (Hampshire) and her husband, Jared, separate. Alone in her house, Meredith is convinced that Alex is still alive, unaware that the death of her baby has caused the birth of something terribly sinister.

HOME begins production August 13, 2019 in Montreal, QC.

“This part was meant for Emily and what she’s creating has gone beyond any of our expectations – she’s incredible,” said Kalin-Hajdu.

“Emily has shown extraordinary acting range with roles from Jennifer Goines to Stevie. With HOME, she is going to surprise everyone.” said O’Brien.

The remaining cast will be announced shortly.
