The Longshot is a new band from Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day. While it sounds and could possibly be a Green Day album, personally I’m glad its not. Billie Joe Armstrong played all the instruments on the amazing album Love is for Losers. If it was a Green Day album, then they would be playing arenas and maybe playing a couple songs off their latest album. With The Longshot, they are only playing small clubs and performing most of their songs off their album. Only bad thing is that you have to be lucky enough to get tickets. They do throw in two, sometimes three “Green Day” covers in their set with all tracks from their forgotten Trilogy albums.
