The world famous theater has a long history of fans camping out to see the opening night of every Star Wars film. So fitting that a Carrie Fisher Pop-Up Museum had to be at this location. The museum featured a variety of never-before-exhibited personal items from Carrie’s collection have been loaned to the theatre by Carrie’s brother, Todd, for this memorable occasion.

Among the various items which will be on display are Carrie’s light saber, hand props, personal Star Wars scripts, her personalized directors chairs from Star Wars productions in both the United States and England, one of a kind portraits and photos, and ephemera that commemorates her long association with Star Wars. Todd Fisher, brother to Carrie Fisher was on hand for the official ribbon cutting.

He also did a book signing for his book MY GIRLS about his mother Debbie Reynolds & sister Carrie Fisher. Kevin Winston from Digital LA got to interview Todd about the book, museum & event.  Also check out his photos below.
