Bionic Buzz® got to interview singer-songwriter & drummer of the Melvins, Dale Crover. We talked to him about a ton of things. First off we asked him where his passion about for music came from. Then talked about his days as drummer for Nirvana, what it was like at the rock n roll hall of fame for Nirvana, calling into the Howard Stern show about Nirvana and the time Nirvana performed at an empty Radio Shack. Then talked about his solo album “Fickle Finger of Fate,” his crazy experiment drum song Piso Mojado, and new album “Rat-A-Tat-Tat!”

We talked about tracks from the album including “Tougher,” “Shark Like Overbite” and “I Can’t Help You There” in which we also talked about the music video the song. “Rat-A-Tat-Tat!” album arrives January 15th by Joyful Noise Recordings. We also learned about his old side band in the 90’s called Altamont, in which he sang and played guitar and how it has influenced his solo albums. Finally we end the interview talking about the new Melvins album “Working with God,” which is due out Feb 26th. It is an 1983 album which means it has original Melvins drummer Mike Dillard on drums and Dale playing bass.
