Nitro Circus is bringing high adrenaline action to Gnarlytown. With a star-studded cast of top tier athletes from FMX, BMX, Skate, and more who hold over 30 X Games medals combined, Nitro Circus’s athletes will put on four separate shows during the festival. Good music and loud fans are fuel for these talented riders.

The Nitro Circus cast of athletes includes its iconic ringleader, Travis Pastrana, who will lead Nitro’s freestyle motocross crew as they throw down choreographed tricks over a 75-foot gap. The rider lineup features X Games medalists Todd Potter, Brian McCarty and Robert Haslam, plus Nitro World Games champion Gregg Duffy, as well as FMX veterans Derek Garland and James Carter.

WCMX pioneer Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham, whose incredible athletic achievements have not only inspired fans around the world but also changed the perception of people on wheelchairs, will ride Nitro’s notorious Giganta ramp, which towers more than 45 feet high.

A highly decorated BMX roster will also take on the Giganta, including legendary Morgan Wade (an eight-time X Games medalist and one of the world’s best mega ramp athletes), James Foster (a five-time X Games medalist and one of the most technically proficient riders in the game today), plus innovative X Games medalist Andy Buckworth, and Pat Casey, a two-time X Games medalist in his own right.

CJ Titus, who recently competed in Skate Big Air at X Games Shanghai will also showcase his skills, along with the multi-talented Ethen Roberts, and you never know what outrageous wheeled contraption Trevor Piranha and Tyler Roberts will launch into the air next.

Chris Cole’s Rail Jam Invitational will present a selection of today’s gnarliest skate talent from the list of Cole’s personal favorites, which strongly suggests crowd favorite heavy hitters such as Tom Asta, Leticia Bufoni, Sean Malto and Ryan Sheckler. Or, as Cole puts it, “savages I want to see on the course.” With the skate action continuing in the background throughout the festival as the invitees and assorted guests refine their approach, each of the three official 30-minute jam events will run unstructured for the skaters to session freely as friends and locals do at a skate spot. Cash and prizes will be awarded for the most impressive tricks.
