Bionic Buzz® got to cover Winter Fest OC at the Orange Country Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA last night. The festivals features so much magic and activities for children & adults of all ages. There is free concerts from tribute acts for Queen, The Beatles, Journey. Selena & more. All shows are free inside the Hanger Stage. There is fresh snow blown in daily that you can play on or sled one in Alpine Village and Penny’s Snow Play areas. The Trackless train is back that takes you throughout the Festival of Lights. The outdoor ice rink is back next to the beautiful giant Christmas tree which features nightly fireworks after the tree lights.

There is a nightly holiday parade before it. Santa flys over head from now through Christmas eve. The Candy Cane Carnival is returns with OC Fair style rides & games. So many activities to list so lets go through the rest. There is face painting, petting zoo, Anaheim Ducks Hockey Rink you can play in, bounce houses, snowboard simulator, large rocking horse, world’s largest ornaments and my personal favorite the snowflake summit. Over 15o feet long! Also Holiday themed food, candies, cocktails & drinks.

Our favorite things at Winter Fest OC is So Cal Dickens’s London Towne: a Victorian winter wonderland.  All the best of Victorian England is brought to life in it where historical figures and fictional characters walk side by side.

There ton of unique shops. You can even buy your own Victorian outfit to join in on the fun.  Take tea with family and friends in their friendly Victorian village. Enjoy music, food, drinks and performances.

Meet Mr. Charles Dickens and his friends Alice, Mr. Fezziwig, Ebenezer Scrooge & more. SoCal Dickens LondonTowne is produced by St Cuthbert’s Entertainment Inc,  a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation, whose mission is to support the performing arts in schools throughout California, and is sponsored in part by Celebration Festivals, Inc. Check out our video tour and photos. You can do walk ups for the Cuthbert’s Tea Shoppe but I recommend doing an online reservation for tea at: http://cuthbertsteashoppe.com/so-cal-dickens/

Character meet and greets. Featuring PJ Masks, Thomas the Train & Friends, Peppa Pig, The Grinch & Paw Patrol. Check the schedule here.

Del Oro Pacific Train Club has their world famous train exhibit. Grab some candy at the near by Candy Castle Maze or some delicious festive cookies & donuts.

As you can see, there is so much to do. Winter fest OC runs now through Jan 5th. I highly recommend arriving as early as possible to pick up tickets and get through security to have enough time to get a great spot for the tree light & Santa fly over.
